The Pacific Airshow flies to Huntington Beach today, September 30 through Sunday, October 2. The US Airforce Thunderbirds will headline the three-day event and while the air show is free to the public, upgraded seating options are available for purchase.

For an upscale viewing experience, The Waterfront Beach Resort, a Hilton hotel, offers dining packages at three of its on-site restaurants. Prices range from $59 per seat to $2,200 for a private table with champagne.

At Pacific Terrace, walk-in visitors are welcome and guests will receive a seat for $59 to view the air show. The ticket includes a cocktail and appetizers such as chicken tinga nachos with cilantro cream, mini corn dogs, and short rib quesadilla with pico de gallo.

The hotel’s new beach-side restaurant, The Wave, offers its own first-come, first-served dining experience. The package includes a Grilled Surf & Turf Burger with Tempura Breaded Shrimp, Truffle Aioli and Arugula served with Garlic Sea Salt Fries. The Viewing Meal also includes two choices libation (alcoholic or non-alcoholic canned drink) or coffee, tea and ice cream bars.

Wave’s Pacific Airshow viewing package is available today through Sunday, 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Adult tickets are $149 and include free valet parking. Children’s tickets are $110. Reservations must be made in advance through Eventbrite (eventbrite.com/e/airshow-watch-party-at-the-wave-tickets-425996847037).

At the Offshore 9 Rooftop Lounge, the restaurant hosts an exclusive event with coastal-inspired appetizers. This venue is the best option at the Waterfront Beach Resort for large groups. (Reservations must be made in advance.) Prices range from $250 to $2,200, depending on the offering, which ranges from general admission seating to larger fireside tables and coffee tables.

Available today and Saturday from 10:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., the general admission ticket to the Offshore 9 rooftop lounge includes reserved high-rise seating where attendees can dine on smoked salmon crostini with caper creme fraiche and caviar followed by a chicken roulade. The general admission ticket also includes an airshow goodie bag.

For larger groups, the lounge offers tabletop fire viewing packages for parties of four to six guests. Guests will enjoy the general admission menu with a welcome cocktail and charcuterie board to share with Mineshaft blue cheese, triple cream brie, aged asiago, copa, Genoa salami, Zoe’s pepperoni with fillings such as fig jam, honeycomb and salted nuts. A complimentary bottle of champagne and an Airshow gift bag complete the package. North Corner’s premier seating for 10 offers all the benefits of other viewing packages, plus a private fire table with an overhead view of the airshow.
